Pop - up Houses

We made 3D structures out of 2D flat paper  by creating box folds and cutting windows, doors and sometimes chimneys. We had to follow instructions carefully and had a couple of practices, then we made our final pop-up. We had to think carefully about what was flat on the ground or floor and what was vertical or in the background. Accuracy was really important too - everything had to line up for it to work well.
We are pleased with them and we hope you like them too -  read our comments below and please add your own too using the anonymous option. Please sign off with your name so we know who you are. Thanks..

  12. We enjoyed making paper bags out of newspapers. It was fun when we were making the details inside of the bag. Then we did a test by putting dictionary's in the bags & seeing how many it could hold. Sam & Jamie M.
